According to Football Insider, Wolverhampton Wanderers ace Adama Traore caused a bit of a stir in a rival dressing room over the weekend.
What’s the word?
It is believed that several Tottenham Hotspur players urged their manager Jose Mourinho to sign the winger following his performance in Wolves’ 2-1 defeat on Sunday afternoon.

A source claims that some of the senior stars amongst the opposition dressing room openly told their boss how impressed they were with Traore.
The north London side walked away from Molineux with all three points after Jan Vertonghen headed home in injury time.
Wolves’ equaliser came through the Spaniard midway through the second half as he fired in from the edge of the box.

Word of warning
Traore struggled during his maiden season in the west Midlands following a then club-record £18m move, contributing to just four goals, leading to claims that he had ‘no end product.’
However, under the stewardship of his manager Nuno Santo, the tricky wide man has come on leaps and bounds in what is surely a breakthrough year – he’s scored four times and assisted six goals already this campaign.
He has now become such an integral part of the Wolves line up, operating on the right side of a front three when a 3-4-3 formation is deployed, and even on the odd occasion at right wing-back when Nuno opts for a 3-5-2 system instead.
Spurs players’ praise of the emerging talent should only serve as a warning to the Portuguese chief, though. It could well be the start of a trend that may continue throughout next year.
Naturally, impressive performances are going to garner traction and interest from elsewhere considering Wolves are yet to cement themselves amongst the top six in the Premier League.
This can be seen with Nuno’s own links to Arsenal so might this be just the beginning of Traore catching the eye.
