Everton fans have taken to Twitter to slate Alex Iwobi for his display as the club were knocked out of the Carabao Cup at the quarter-final stage on Wednesday.

According to WhoScored, the summer addition was the worst Everton player on the pitch with a rating of 5.82, only having a passing accuracy of 60% and failing to have a single shot or make a key pass from the right flank.
Plenty of Toffees supporters made their feelings known on the 23-year-old, who is yet to really make his mark in a blue shirt following his £34m summer move.
One fan described him as being “unbelievably bad”, while another suggested he doesn’t even look as though he is a footballer.
While many simply slated Iwobi, one fan did choose to look at how Carlo Ancelotti, who Sky Sports report will be confirmed as the club’s new manager before the weekend after a deal was agreed, would make of the attacker.
On this display they believed that he wouldn’t last under the former Napoli boss, but of course he also wasn’t playing in his preferred No.10 role again against the Foxes.
Other supporters chose to focus on director of football Marcel Brands’ part in bringing the African to Goodison, suggesting he should be sacked if he was the man behind the deal.
In other news, Moise Kean has reacted on Instagram to a post saying Carlo Ancelotti has agreed to become the club’s new manager…
