Leeds United are in need of a new goalkeeper to strengthen their promotion push, and have been linked with numerous options to field between the sticks.
Amongst those recently linked are Newcastle United’s Karl Darlow and Burnley’s Tom Heaton, who are both surplus to requirements at their current clubs and can strengthen Marcelo Bielsa’s roster.
At present, the Argentinean head coach has been forced to make do with one senior option in Bailey Peacock-Farrell, with Chelsea loanee Jamal Blackman supporting the Northern Ireland international.
Blackman suffering a broken leg while featuring for the Under 23s, however, meant the 25-year-old was forced to return to his parent club to receive treatment.

If the decision on a new goalkeeper comes down to Newcastle’s and Burnley’s offering, Bielsa must look to sign the England international not getting a look in at Turf Moor.
Heaton has shown throughout his career that he is a top quality shot-stopper, and would likely still be the Claret and Blues number one option had it not been for an injury beckoning Nick Pope into the starting XI.
The 32-year-old is also now behind Joe Hart, following the ex-Manchester City man’s arrival in the summer, and should look for a new club in order to play regular football.
Heaton could help Peacock-Farrell to develop, but also vitally has the experience of guiding Burnley out of the Championship and into the Premier League on two previous occasions.
