As reported by The Scottish Sun, Rangers attacker Michael O’Halloran could be set for an Ibrox exit this summer, with Scottish Premiership side Motherwell interested in his services.
What’s the story?
O’Halloran has had a difficult couple of seasons at the Light Blues since being signed by Mark Warburton for a reported £500,000 fee in the 2016 January transfer window.
With poor form combining with visits to watch Celtic winning trophies, it’s fair to say he isn’t the most popular figure with Rangers supporters right now.
The Scottish Sun report that Motherwell are looking to capitalise on his lowly status at Ibrox with a move for him this summer, believing he’s the kind of signing that could complete their attack as they target a top six league finish next season.

Can he still produce in the Scottish Premiership?
While things obviously haven’t worked out for the 27-year-old in Glasgow, he has the pace and talent to make himself a nuisance to most defences in the Scottish top-flight.
In the season he joined Rangers, he scored five goals and provided 10 assists in a half season at St Johnstone, form he rekindled in 2017/18 back on loan at the Perth outfit, scoring five goals in 16 appearances.
That demonstrates he has the quality that could make an impact at the Steelmen next season, combining with the likes of Ryan Bowman and Curtis Main.
His career may be over at Ibrox, but he has plenty to offer other sides in the Scottish top-flight.
